Marie Vermeulen Breedt is a South African artist known for her exquisite oil paintings. She was born in 1954 in Cape Town, South Africa, and her passion for art began at a young age.

Breedt studied Fine Art at the University of Cape Town, where she honed her skills in painting and drawing.

Breedt’s paintings are characterised by their vibrant colours, intricate details, and expressive brushstrokes. Her subjects range from landscapes and still lifes to portraits and figurative works.

She draws inspiration from the natural beauty of South Africa, as well as from her travels abroad.
