About the Artist: Bea
Bea was born on 26 December 1941 in the Paarl. Her love for art and her talent was discovered and inspired at an early age, by her art teacher, the famous Dawid Botha. She graduated in Historic Art and taught at W.A. Joubert in the Paarl. In 1966 she resided in Leeds, England for two years, where she fully experienced the European art history. It is also here where she fell in love with the warm bright colours of European art.
