About the Artist: Frances Wedepohl

Frances Wedepohl was born in Port Elizabeth in 1964 and grew up in Johannesburg, where she still lives and paints. She loved expressing herself from an early age, drawing everything and on anything, especially acrylic paint. She pursued art to matric. Her dream was to study Fine Arts but her dad thought differently. She chose to study Architectural Draughting which drew her in and nourished her love of line and shape.
